Why we built this
We were tired of paying $14 for a cocktail when the bar next door had $6 margaritas. Tired of Googling "happy hour near me" and getting blog posts from 2019. Tired of walking into a place at 6:01 PM and finding out happy hour ended at 6:00.
So we built Happy Hour Map: a single, real-time map of every happy hour we could find — across all 50 states, updated constantly, free forever.
What makes us different
We're not a review site, a reservation app, or a food delivery service. We do one thing: tell you where the deals are happening right now. That's it.
- No accounts. No logins, no email collection, no signup wall.
- An ad-free map. The app itself carries no advertising — the map is the product, and we don't clutter it with banners. This website does show ads, which is what keeps the app free and the data going.
- Real-time accuracy. We track each bar's posted schedule and your local timezone — so "Live Now" actually means now.
- Community-powered. Users submit new deals and corrections, and bar owners can claim their listings to keep things fresh.
The numbers
Today we track happy hour deals at over 36,000 bars and restaurants in all 50 states — from neighborhood dives in Brooklyn to rooftop bars in LA, taprooms in Austin to wine bars in Seattle. And it's growing every week.
Just under 500 cities have enough listings to earn a city page of their own here, spread across 48 states and Washington, DC. Everywhere else — including our thinnest markets in Alaska and Vermont — the bars still show up on the map and in the app; there just isn't enough there yet to write a page about.
