Dollar beer is still a real thing in Oklahoma City. The Mill on NW 58th Street lists $1 small drafts daily from 4 to 7, and Henry Hudsons on West Memorial Road lists $1 select domestic drafts across the same hours, seven days a week. Bin 73 on North Western Avenue lists $1.50 domestic beers, and Birrieria El Rancho lists $2.99 for a margarita or a beer. The bottom of this market sits well under $3, which pulls everything above it down with it.

The other surprise is the calendar. Nearly one listing in five covers a Saturday or Sunday, well above the regional norm and roughly double what Dallas or Nashville manage, and a fair number of windows open at 2 PM rather than 3.

North May Avenue carries the most entries, but the interesting density is inner-city: NW 16th Street through the Plaza District, North Walker and North Hudson in Midtown, NE 2nd Street in Deep Deuce and West Sheridan on Film Row. Empire Slice House on NW 16th lists buy-one-get-one cheese and pepperoni slices from 2 to 6. Dust Bowl on NW 10th lists a $3 white russian. The R&J Lounge, a few doors down, lists $2.50 Coors with $4.90 wells and gives Monday the whole day.

A flat dollar off still covers a quarter of the city's listings.
