Happy Hours in Omaha, Nebraska

Omaha runs its happy hour off the food menu as much as the bar. Memoir on Harney Street lists 25% off starters from 3 to 6. First Round on Farnam lists 99-cent wings. Industrial Bar on Industrial Road lists $2 off every burger, and Gilded Feather on South 18th lists $5 off appetizers Sunday through Friday. In a lot of cities the food is a rider on the drink deal; here it is often the deal.

Two corridors hold most of the listings. Howard, Harney, Jackson and Capitol form the Old Market grid, where Howard Street Wine Merchant lists 30% off wines on tap Monday through Saturday and Clio at 1202 Howard lists $9 cocktails from 2 to 6. Farnam Street through the Blackstone District picks up the newer rooms. Beyond that the map spreads west along Maple Road, Center Road and Pacific Street into suburban restaurant bars.

Pastime on South 108th lists $2.75 domestics, Scorz Sports Center on Main Street lists $2 draft beer, and Brickway Brewery in the Old Market lists $4 beers with Sunday running all day.

Windows lean to a 4 PM open with 3 PM close behind, and weekend coverage sits around one listing in twelve. Everything here is drawn from public sources rather than from the bars themselves.
